Felt like I was carried on top of a calm, rolling wave.

Thank you so much @Navigate Yourself - Danijs. I’m really pleased that came over in the feeling of the words, not just the description.

Master.

Imagine being so good that people understanding maybe 70% of your work already makes you a Master.

Ladies and gentle Man,

Mark "my words" Crutchfield

haha - thanks! I hopefully leave enough for people to make their own understanding how they feel is right :)

Oh I think you leave enough for the told, understood cold, before understood some rather fold, and an extra as well -

even leaving to hold,

truths for and by the old.

Very life affirming, appreciate the over hanging metaphor!

That tiny first touch at the feet undid me a little... I am still wandering around in that quiet welcome~

Water on the toes is that moment we all love on a sandy beach.

Unless of course you’re a kid and then it’s running in at top speed!

Smashing, Mark. Feels like we’re in sync lately. I’ve got something coming with a similar theme, though mine’s less gentle, more of an oceanic suffocation. Spectrum ends x

Thanks MoTy! Looking forwards to seeing your smashing waves!

“The sea never stops / it just arrives / in smaller ways”

That line held me.

There’s something in the way you let it stay gentle

without turning it into comfort.

It doesn’t promise anything—

just keeps arriving anyway.

Thank you so much Renée.

Sitting there on the beach, it feels like a small constant. You phrased it beautifully. It doens’t promise, yet keeps arriving.

PS. sorry, took a little to reply and thank you for sharing!

This is beyond words beautiful, Mark. Also, just what I needed this week to give me the energy to make it to mid-June. Thank you for seeing me. ❤️

Awwww. Thank you Margaret and so pleased it landed just at the right time! 💛

Thank you for this. It made me think of standing in a beach, letting the waves wash over your feet as they slowly become covered in sand, like the beach is considering whether to bury or plant you.

Thank you Dave! That’s just the feeling I was hoping to create. 😊
