This is almost ethereal, wouldn’t you say? It feels suspended somewhere between touch and dream.

That’s a really interesting reading Petra, and I can see that feeling from the ending which removes time, dreams and memories.

Thank you!

That last turn took me all the way out..! Now I am over here all melty and tender and not even pretending to be normal about it...

Awww Asuka! Tenderness from a few little words is the perfect way to be 😍

Thank you for letting me give you a little!

Beautiful. I love the dramatic turn at the end. At least I saw it as dramatic...

Thank you Kate!

Yes, I did slip in a litte turn at the end :)

Hey Mark, I think this poem is wonderful. I interpret it as a very sensual and intimate time between two lovers because of words and phrases like; touch, barely, tore open, loosed, etc.

Thank you so much for sharing Libertarian. That’s such a lovely reading and yes, intimacy and closeness could be themes for this piece.

Thank you!

You’ve managed to capture that ache of a perfect moment so still and suspended that its inevitable end feels less like a fading and more like the entire world folding up and disappearing. In awe ✨
